Red Squirrel Heaven

Prior to heading to the Yorkshire Dales I had only seen Red Squirrels twice before, a brief glimpse at Grasmere a few years ago high up in a tree and at Brownsea Island. So when booking with Paul Fowlie, I had seen the videos - exciting, but you never know, at the end of the day, these are wild animals, they can do what they want, when they want, without restriction.
So cometh the day, cometh the hour ... it did not disappoint, not for one second. Will I be back? you betya!
I will let the photographs do the talking. However, they can be grouped into 4 main types - hide with lots of activity, the jump, water reflections and then me free styling.
A final note on Paul, yes he has the best name, and he is also from the North East, so win win ... but really .... he is friendly, chatty, lots of stories, knowledgable, hot at photography, patient and a cool guy.
I can't wait to return :)
